PANEER METHI MALAI RECIPE ✅ Recipe (Cals - 370, P- 27g) 100g low fat paneer 2 cups of methi 1/2 cup Matar (peas) - (Boiled) 1 tsp jeera In a pan, add 1.5 tsp ghee and saute some jeera. Then add Matar and cook for 2-3 mins. Then add methi and let it cook for 6-7 mins on low flame. Spices - Salt, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala Add the above spices in the cooked methi, matar and saute for 3-4 mins. Turn off the flame. For the creamy base: 2 big chopped onions 4-5 garlic cloves 2-3 cashews 1 cinnamon stick 1 bayleaf 2-3 peppercorns 1 clove 2-3 elaichi Boil the above ingredients for 12-15 mins (water should be just enough to soak all the above well) until everything is soft and the water has turned slightly pink (onion will leave its color) Let it cool down and remove the bayleaf and cinnamon stick before blending Blend this all along with its water (this is the magical ingredient as it contains all the flavor of the spices post boiling) with 100g low fat paneer. Add this creamy mixture to the methi matar mixture and cook for another 7-8 mins on low flame (Add more water while cooking to adjust consistency if needed) Add 1 tsp sugar and mix well.
