If you truly want to burn belly fat and get lean, you’ll need to buckle down with your fat loss diet and start tracking things more closely by taking into account all the individual foods, snacks, “cheat meals” and beverages you’re consuming during the week to see what the true long term average is. If it isn’t equaling out to somewhere around 300-500 calories below maintenance then it’s no surprise you’re not losing belly fat and you’ll need to start being more diligent with things in order to get onto the right track with your fat loss program. Simply having more “good days” than “bad days” with your cutting diet is not the whole story. What truly matters for burning belly fat is the total energy consumed versus the total energy burned for the entire week, month and year as a whole.
